INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH: March is International Women’s Month and it’s important to remember that Mary Wollstonecraft was one particularly unsung advocate for women’s issues. The first woman to write a book campaigning for women’s equality and also the mother of author Mary Shelley (who wrote Frankenstein). I took a trip down to her former home in Somers Town, St Pancras to walk in her footsteps and ponder the community she lived in during her 18th century campaigning.
